Grilled Pineapples is a Premium Upgrade in Bloons TD 5. It reduces the countdown timer on the exploding Pineapple from 3 seconds to 1 second. It costs 
10 or 
600 in Bloons Tower Defense 5 Deluxe. This makes it easier to avoid wasting a Pineapple.
Grilled Pineapples is excusive to the Flash and Deluxe versions of the game - it is not available in Bloons TD 5 Mobile.
Strategies[]
- This can be very helpful on certain daily challenges. For instance, on a challenge that only lets players use certain non-explosive towers and pineapples as the only explosive source.
Trivia[]
- Monkey Aces' Pineapples will have this effect too.
- This is the cheapest premium upgrade in BTD5 and BTD5 Deluxe (other than Next Rank).
- Contrary to the description, the pineapple explodes 1 second after placed down, not instantly.
- There once was an event in BTD5 which enables players to use Grilled Pineapples for free, even after the event ended.
