Tokens are the currency in Bloons TD 5 iOS used to purchase and upgrade the Monkey Lab. The player can obtain Tokens by completing tracks including Extreme Tracks or reaching round 101 on a track. the player does not recieve tokens for beating the same track on the same difficulty for a second time. The player can sometimes also obtain Tokens by the daily rewards Treasure Chest. The amount of tokens you can earn in a level depends on the track played and the difficulty played on.

• Although the player does not recieve tokens for beating the same level on the same difficulty twice, he/she does recieve a token if they beat round 101 on a level on the same difficulty twice. This is useful for getting small amounts of tokens without playing new levels.
